FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTION

Do you touch up all the photos?

We will cull the images and select the “best of.”  We include basic touch-ups such as adjusting for white balance, skin tones, and highlights for those selected images that are delivered to you.  If you have a special request, such as removing a bridesmaid’s tattoo, that is considered a custom edit and is quoted separately.

We deliver high-resolution, print-ready images.

How would you describe the Jennifer Oliphant editing style?

We would describe our editing style as true to life, clean and classic, soft and light-filled. We don’t want your photos to date, so we avoid using orange or oversaturated coloured filters.

Instead of following trends, we have worked hard to create a style of our own that is TIMELESS.

How many images do we receive?

Since every wedding is different, We do not guarantee a set amount of images.  Several factors affect the number of images shot at your wedding, including the number of hours you have contracted us, your scheduled activities, and the number of people at your party.  As a guideline, you can expect approx. 50-70 images per hour of service that you contract.

How long after our wedding day do we receive the images?

You will receive a link to your complete gallery within four weeks. If you would like to receive your gallery within 7 days a priority editing fee of $200 will apply. Please let us know if you require your images back sooner and we can arrange this for you.

Can I show you samples of photos that I like?

It is helpful to see samples of images that represent the style you are looking to achieve in your wedding images.  However, we capture your wedding day as the event unfolds and can’t guarantee specific shots but will do our best to achieve your desired look.

What happens if things run late and we need more time?

We provide a courtesy 10-15 minute grace period just in case things run a little late. If you know that you will need additional coverage early on, it’s best to inform us before your wedding day.  Any time added on the wedding day is billed at our hourly rate, which may be higher than our package rates.  So if you think you may need more hours, it’s better to book them ahead of time.

Do you include the raw files?

Your final edited images are delivered in .jpeg format at 300 dpi.  RAW files and unedited files are not available for purchase and remain property of the studio.

Do you photograph elopements?

Of course! We LOVE elopement weddings and have special rates for weekday weddings and elopements. We love the intimate setting created between a couple as they exchange vows in an alternative fashion.

How do we book our wedding date?

A $500 deposit and a signed confirmation form are required to secure your wedding date at the time of booking. Two weeks before your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.

How do we receive our wedding images?

No more fussing around with USBs or other media… All our images are delivered via a private online gallery where you can easily download and share your images. You can even order albums straight from here.

Can we order a wedding album?

Absolutely! We have a stunning range of custom albums, all individually designed to suit your day. There is a choice of two hemp and two leather covers, with name embossing and sturdy, thick pages.
