Have questions about your wedding photography?
Planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions, and choosing your photographer is one of the biggest decisions you'll make. Below you'll find answers to the most common questions about working with Jennifer Oliphant and what you can expect from your Sunshine Coast wedding photography experience.
Do you edit all of the photos?
Yes. Every image you receive is carefully hand-edited to ensure it reflects my signature style. After your wedding, I thoughtfully curate your gallery, selecting the very best moments from your day. Each chosen image is professionally edited with adjustments to colour, white balance, exposure, skin tones and lighting.
If you'd like more extensive retouching—such as removing a tattoo or another specific request—I'm happy to arrange this as a custom edit for an additional fee.
All final images are delivered in high-resolution, print-ready quality.
How would you describe your editing style?
My editing style is timeless, true to life, soft and full of natural light. I love creating images with clean, classic tones that will feel just as beautiful decades from now as they do today.
Rather than following editing trends or heavy filters, I focus on natural colours and authentic moments, ensuring your wedding photos never go out of style.
How many images will we receive?
Every wedding is unique, so I don't guarantee a set number of images. The size of your gallery depends on several factors, including your coverage time, the flow of your day and the number of guests.
As a guide, you can expect around 50–70 beautifully edited images per hour of photography coverage.
When will we receive our photos?
Your complete online gallery will be delivered within four weeks of your wedding day.
If you'd love your images sooner, I also offer a Priority Editing Service, with delivery within seven days for an additional fee of $200. Just let me know before your wedding and I'll happily arrange it.
Can we share inspiration photos?
Every photographer has their own unique style and approach to editing. For this reason, I don’t ask clients to send through inspiration images or mood boards.
Instead, I encourage you to take a look through my website, portfolio and Instagram to get a feel for my photography and editing style. This will help ensure that my style aligns with the look and feel you’re envisioning for your images.
What happens if our timeline runs behind?
Wedding days don't always run perfectly to schedule, so I allow a complimentary 10–15 minute grace period where possible.
If you think you'll need additional coverage, it's best to arrange this before your wedding day. Extra time added on the day is charged at my hourly rate, which is typically higher than booking additional hours in advance.
Do you provide the RAW files?
Your final gallery is delivered as beautifully edited, high-resolution JPEG images (300dpi).
RAW files and unedited images are not available for purchase and remain the property of the photographer.
Do you photograph elopements?
Absolutely—I adore elopements.
There's something incredibly special about the intimacy and emotion of a smaller celebration. I offer dedicated packages for weekday weddings and elopements, and I'd love to help create a photography experience that's perfect for your day.
How do we book our wedding date?
To secure your wedding date, a $500 booking fee and a signed booking agreement are required.
The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding day.
How will we receive our wedding photos?
Your images are delivered through a private online gallery that's easy to access, download and share with family and friends.
From your gallery, you can also order professional prints and custom wedding albums.

Every part of the day has its own magic—from the excitement of getting ready to the beautiful details of the reception. If I had to choose one favourite moment, it would be the ceremony. There's nothing quite like capturing the genuine emotion as two people exchange vows, surrounded by the people they love most. Those heartfelt, unscripted moments are often the ones couples treasure forever.
